Express Park Construction carries out the
construction of buildings at any Express Park site and although will work for
other clients on an invitation basis.
During initial occupiers discussions Express Park Construction works closely
with Express Park Developments and the occupier to develop the brief thus
ensuring that the most cost effective solutions to the their requirements are
found. Our Design Manager in conjunction with our Senior Quantity
Surveyor, is able to advise on options that are available and implications on
budget and programme. Having established the building parameters, this division
develops a Contractor’s Proposal which effectively states what will be built
with a firm price and construction programme which forms the basis of the
Construction Contract.
The Express Park construction programme is controlled by the Project Manager who
has overall responsibility for the site and control of all
subcontractors. Specialist subcontractors are used for the major elements
of the construction such as foundations, steel frame, glazing and cladding,
mechanical and electrical services etc.
Our objective is to establish and maintain partnering relationships with our
subcontractors so that we can rely on their ongoing commitment to our projects.
We are committed to ensuring that all our sites provide a safe and clean
working environment and a strict health and safety regime is followed backed up
by regular independent external health and safety inspection and auditing.
