The Exchange is a multi function signature building for Express Park Bridgwater. Construction commenced in December 2003 and the building was completed in December 2004. Total area constructed is approximately 45,000 sq ft with a construction value of approximately £5.2 Million. The building is a steel frame construction on concrete piles with cladding mainly of terracotta tiles.
A main conference floor, able to accommodate 150 delegates along with an adjacent dining area, provides state of the art conference and meeting facilities. Fully air-conditioned with video and computer facilities, the space provides optimum levels of service for clients. The building has an office wing, comprising corporate offices and seminar conference rooms. The ground floor comprises a crèche along with external play areas. All offices are comfort cooled with full data provisions.
The building has a main gym along with a spin studio and aerobics studio providing first-class fitness facilities.
The gym is fitted out in a contemporary style and includes the latest types of gym equipment for clients of all capabilities. A separate floor of changing and shower facilities also has various services such as tanning, beauty, massage etc on offer to clients. The main ground floor comprises a cafeteria/restaurant area serving the growing population of staff working at Express Park and members of the public.
