Express Park have entered into a Development Agreement with Neath Port Talbot Council to complete the development of the Leisure area at Hollywood Park on Aberavon seafront on the edge of Port Talbot town centre.

Hollywood Park Port Talbot comprises a leisure, public house and restaurant development which will complete the leisure area at Hollywood Park.  The site occupies a prominent position with easy access to Junction 41 of the M4.  The development is situated on a 2.8 acre site and planning permission has been granted to comprise the following:-


  1. A 20,000 sq. ft. 18 lane bowl. Bowling International have signed an Agreement for Lease for a term of 15 years. 
  2. A 7,500 sq. ft. family public house – available for sale or to let.
  3. A drive thru Burger King Restaurant which will total 3,200 sq. ft.
  4. The scheme incorporates 220 new car parking spaces, which will increase the total parking on Hollywood Park to 391 spaces.

The first phase of Hollywood Park comprises an existing six screen Apollo multiplex cinema and a 3,000 sq. ft. standalone Chinese restaurant.

Hollywood Park is situated between the Afan Lido and a Best Western Hotel.  The Lido is a large Leisure Centre incorporating an aqua dome sports centre with 700 fixed seats, which hosts pop concerts, exhibitions, 6 rink indoor bowls stadium and full size astro-turf pitch.  The centre attracts 500,000 visitors a year.

As part of the scheme the multiplex cinema, Lido and general appearance of the park will be upgraded.

Aberavon Beach across from the development attracts a significant number of visitors each year.  The council have invested heavily to upgrade the seafront and will shortly be constructing a new 250 space public car park opposite the scheme.
